• My 10-325 bandsaw takes a long time to start. Is this normal?

• I have an extra brass piece left over during assembly. Where does it go?
This is called a lock shoe (pt #11) and it is installed into a pocket in the fence body (pt #100).
• My blade will not tension properly. Is there an adustment to gain more tension?
Yes! There is a double nut system (pt #193) located behind the upper wheel. Loosen one nut and raise it approximately 1/4". Lock the adjustment with the second lock nut.
• Why do some blades tension differently then others?
Certain blade manufacturers cut their blades at different lenghts. Some can be up to 3/8" oversized causing lack of tension.
• Do I have to remove the fence bar in order to change the blade?
No, the fence bar can remain on the saw during blade changes.
• My guide post seems out of plumb. Is there an adjustment to make it travel straight with the blade?
Yes! Loosen the four bolts that hold the post in place and pivot into position.
• Can you recommend a mobile base?
We have been recommending a no-name mobile base hardware hit sold by Woodcraft. We ask that the entire base of the saw be supported, not just the corners. This kit forces you to use ¾” ply so the weight is distributed evenly. The other benefit of this base is that there are two locking/leveling feet in the front that allows all four corners of the base to be supported properly. Please click this link for more information:
